Why does this page look different?

This page was made using Bootstrap. Prior to making this page, I had no experience using a CSS framework. I am just starting to learn web development, so I've been focusing on learning plain HTML and CSS. I feel it would be best to learn these first before using a framework. This page was made to get some experience in using a CSS framework.

School Projects

I've been learning a lot about the Information Technology industry since I've started at CCC. To give an idea to what I've been learning in school, these are just some of the programming projects that I've done in school. These include C#, PHP, and Java.

PHP Database

This is some code from my database assignment. This is using PHP to connect to a MySQL database.

Drink Machine

This is a program I made in C#. When the user clicks a soda, the inventory count is reduced by one, and the cost of the soda is added to the total. If the soda is empty, a message is displayed.

Fizzbuzz

This program was made to practice using PHP. This is a simple program that creates an array and adds the numbers 1-100 to it. If the number is divisible by three, "fizz" is added instead of the number. If the number is divisible by five, "buzz" is added instead of the number. If the number is divisible by both three and five, "fizzbuzz" is added instead of the number.

Hospital Charges

This is a program I made in C#. The program figures the cost of a hospital stay after the user enters values in the appropriate text boxes.

Name Search

This is a program I made in C#. This program reads two text files that contain popular boy and girl names into arrays, BoyNames.txt and GirlNames.txt. After that, the user can then enter a name to search the boy names and girl names arrays to see if that name is among the most popular.

Shopping Cart

This is just some of the code for a Java program. This program creates a shopping cart that allows the user to add items. There is a menu displayed for different options, including adding an item to the cart, removing an item from the cart, changing an item's quantity, outputting the items' descriptions, outputting the shoppping cart, or to quit.
